Benjamin Reuben

Mr. Reuben was earlier the Hon. Secretary of the Synagogue from 1989 - 1994 after which he was selected as the Hon. President since 1994. Mr. Reuben an Energy Consultant by profession is a Director on the Board of Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited, Baroda. He was the former Executive Director of the Ahmedabad Electricity Company Limited where he worked for 38 years. He has settled down in Ahmedabad since his graduation from L. D. Engineering College as B.E.(Elec.) in 1960. He is on the advisory committee of the American Joint Distribution Committee and Member of the ORT India managing committee in Mumbai. He is also associate with the following companies / institutions in the respective capacities, Hon. Advisor to the First Secretary Economic Affairs at Embassy of Israel in New Delhi, Consultant to K & M Engineering Corporation Washington D.C., Foster Wheeler Inc. USA, Power Finance Corporation - New Delhi, Asian Development Bank - Manila

Bension Samuel

Bension Samuel hails from the Agawarkar family which is one of the largest closely knit joint family in Ahmedabad. By profession he is a Professor of English Literature in H. A. Arts and Commerce College, Ahmedabad. He has also written a few papers on the Jewish Education in the Community.

Menashe Solomon

Hon. Secretary

Menashe Solomon is one of the most hard working members of the Jewish Community. He handles the regular affairs of the Synagogue. By profession he is a Teacher.

Aviv Divekar

Hon. Joint Secretary

Aviv Divekar is a Computer Engineer by profession and has a computer academy running in different parts of Ahmedabad.

Nissim Reuben

Nissim has completed his Masters in Economics. He has been appointed as the India Market Initiative Coordinator for Arelnet Ltd., Israel based in Ahmedabad. He was the former Principal Commercial Officer of the Trade and Economic Department at the Consulate of Israel in Mumbai. He also worked for  the British Deputy High Commission (Mumbai) as their Commercial Information Officer for Gujarat State here at Ahmedabad.
